Mohamed Salah Extends Statement to Squad, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Salah apologised to the group of players in the wake of the uproar from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a key Champions League match subsequent to voicing frustrations and suggesting his relationship with manager had broken down.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”
The manager has previously declined to comment publicly on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.
Moving Forward
He emphasized that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
The midfielder also noted that a player's desire to start is a positive trait. “It's clear there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just be on the bench, then I think that’s concerning.”
Team Form
Their results have been impressive in the period after the interview fallout. He feels the outburst were not intended to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, the source has been from a desire to win,” Jones concluded. “That chapter is closed and we’re building chemistry, playing well and starting to win games.”
