One two-month journey circling the Land Down Under was terminated following the fatal incident of an elderly woman who was abandoned by the ship on a isolated island.

The elderly woman had been walking on the tropical location with other travelers from the cruise ship, but broke off from the party for a pause. The vessel sailed away leaving her and came back after some time after the crew became aware the woman was unaccounted for.

An extensive search operation found her body the subsequent day.

Investigative bodies are looking into the incident, alongside police and the state coroner.

The CEO of the voyage organizer announced that travelers and personnel on the vessel were told that the remainder of the cruise had been terminated due to the "sad loss and prior mechanical issues".
